Timeline
According to Reading MSc Real Estate schedule, our final project will be taught shortly after the Budapest trip and continue through July and August as stated in the course handbook. The latest submission date should be during mid/late-September, as suggested my senior students. However, we should aim to finish the project as soon as possible, since the scarce sunlight will also be fading sooner and sooner in later months. The ideal month is august, but we probably still be working on the project, so September is the second golden month when the sun goes down at 23:00. In the bottom line, I here present you my rough projection of holiday plan, including my personal adjustment for graduation date.
Prologue
This blog is set up, so every one now can be part of trip organizing and participate in decisive discussions. As the main objective is getting most out of a long trip around Europe after the final project under a economic costs, a traveling protocol is pre-established by traveling through the Eurail Global Pass. The pass allows us to travel 10 days within 2 months between the following countries:
- Austria
- Belgium
- Croatia
- Czech Republic
- Denmark
- Finland
- France
- Germany
- Greece
- Hungary
- Ireland
- Italy
- Luxembourg
- Netherlands
- Norway
- Portugal
- Romania
- Slovenia
- Spain
- Sweden
- Switzerland
Topics of discussion we need to through are suggested as following:
- Objectives - what we want out of this trip; history, culture, nature, shopping, business?
- Destinations - where and in which order our objectives can be achieved?
- Date and length of the trip - when should we start this, and for how long?
- Estimated costs - how much money we need for deployment?
- Number of participants - who want in?
- Other requirements - visa, accommodation, tickets, backpacking?
